Master Your Neck Tension: APW Expander Mandrel Set
Standard commercial sizing dies often rely on undersized or inconsistent internal expander balls that can stretch case necks unevenly, create runout, and degrade consistency. The APW Expander Mandrel Set eliminates this variable entirely, providing precision reloaders with a straightforward method to smooth case necks and set exact neck tension before seating bullets.
By removing the expander ball from your full-length resizing die and adding a dedicated neck-expanding step, you ensure flawless inside-diameter uniformness—the single most effective way to shrink your Extreme Spread (ES) and Standard Deviation (SD) numbers downrange.
